Jaymie Haskell
Jaymie was born and raised in the US but moved to Australia to manage a dance school and never looked back. The king of analogies - Jaymie can make a dance lesson out of anything! He is also the every-dance man and believes variety is the key to being a good social dancer. In his professional dancing, Jaymie is a Smooth and Rhythm champion but prides himself most on his Top Teacher awards. Jaymie is both an instructor and the co-franchisee at Arthur Murray Inner West.
Caitlin Hosking
Caitlin has taught and competed in Australia and in the United States over the last 15 years . Her passion is seeing the lightbulb moments when her students click with a new concept or step. As a professional dancer, she has titles in both Rhythm and Smooth but at the end of day - she’d always prefer to be on the social dance floor, playing with musicality and partnering. Caitlin is both an instructor and the co-franchisee of Arthur Murray Inner West.
James Leece
James comes from a long line of great dancers. He has a background in extreme sports and believes in diving in and giving something a go. Whether he is snowboarding, skateboarding or Waltzing, his enthusiastic approach and broad range of teaching analogies make him fun and easy to learn from. James has a laid back, relatable nature and is passionate about his craft.
Isabelle Carey
Isabelle brings a wealth of experience from her background in competitive gymnastics and cheerleading, combined with her current studies in occupational therapy. Her passion for dynamic movement, paired with a deep understanding of anatomy, allows her to offer a unique perspective in her dance teaching. Isabelle's warm and engaging nature makes her easy to connect with. She especially enjoys teaching brand new students and guiding them through their first steps.
Matthew Adami
Matthew comes from a long teaching career in all styles of partner dance, specialising in his favourite dances - Swing, Lindy Hop and Balboa. His approachable and friendly demeanour on lessons put his students at ease while his attention to detail keeps them feeling progress toward their goals. Matthew always makes new faces to the studio feel extra welcome and is passionate about making the new student experience the best it can be,
Jad Queras
Jad brings his knowledge and expertise from the hip hop dancing world into ballroom and social dancing. His understanding of movement and range of teaching skills developed over the years help him to make dancing accessible to anyone.
Jad is from a big family and spends most weekends at family gatherings, playing games and having cookouts.
Cole Harrington
Cole joins us from across the pond after spending 15 years in Europe chasing her dreams. After catching the “dancing bug” as she calls it, as a young girl, Cole loves to share her passion for ballroom dancing with anyone and everyone who will listen. She’s patient and kind as a teacher and loves showing people with “two left feet” that anyone can dance!
Persia Thor-Poet
Starting ballet at the age of eight, Persia developed a strong foundation in dance before earning a degree in Dance Performance from the prestigious New Zealand School of Dance, specialising in contemporary.
Expanding her career internationally, Persia worked as a principal dancer and showgirl in Toronto, Canada, performing with Toronto’s greatest illusionist, Edllusion Entertainment. Her ballroom teaching journey began at Arthur Murray Montréal, where she spent two years refining her skills as both a dancer and an instructor. Now, she is excited to bring her passion and expertise to Arthur Murray Inner West, inspiring students to discover the joy of ballroom dance.
